General electronics projects. Reverse engineering of industrial electronics. Smaller projects that you can make at home or for school.
Old electronics and expensive RF parts often contain a large amount of gold and other precious materials. I have seen a lot of Computer Gold Scrap recovery videos on youtube. I assume that you have seen the same. Some are handling everything correct, but truth is, with the dangerous and hazardous nature of the dust

A look at a box of IGBTs and MOSFETs that I have salvaged from household electronics like microwave ovens, induction stoves, solar inverters, welding machines, car and battery charges and other common high power electronics with switching inverters. The TO-247 IGBTs can be used in a DRSSTC Tesla Coil using the free half- and full-bridge

This is a short walk-through on deuterium UV lamp theory and a test of the lamp in operation from its rather special power supply. PSU failed. Lamp failed. Complete fail. The lamp comes from the teardown of a Hitachi L7450 HPLC Diode-Array-Detector. HPLC is short for High Performance Liquid Chromatography. The DAD uses UV light
