Battery pack, original branded APC as “RBC”! Which means it is two 12V SLA batteries glued together with a connector and 100A fuse between them.

Power electronics board front and back. The output isolation transformer was connected to the two outer heat sinks. Plastic spacer was used to separate heat sinks and avoid a short circuit, as heat sinks are at voltage level from battery pack.

The APC Smart-UPS 1500 uses a full bridge of HFR3205 MOSFETs 55V 100A 0.008Ohm on resistance. Controller is a Intel M87C51 running at 16 MHz.
