Old School PLC Drum/Sequencer Programming with Telemecanique TSX Nano PLC

Having fun with the Schneider Automation / Telemecanique TSX Nano PLC. Its DOS based PL7-07 program IDE features a neat DRUM programming block that is a merge of old school mechanical control technique merged into modern programming for industrial control. Modern 20 years ago. Perfect for making a simple sequence control or a drum machine!

If you are interested in other old computers and the like, there is a great deal of server, computers and industrial automation controllers in the long list of teardown videos.

I would also like to invite you, to join the High Voltage Forum and take part in the many interesting discussions there. For this video there is a appropriate thread: https://highvoltageforum.net/index.php?topic=2181.0

  1. Hi Darrell
I no longer have the PLC or cable, its sold. I cannot distribute the software due to copyright issues. You could try to contact Schneider Electric (current owner of Telemechanique brand) and ask if they will hand out old software for free.
    Kind regards
    Mads
