It is installed in Assens on the island of Funen in Denmark. It has been connected to the network since January 09, 2014.

Measuring background radiation with 22 CPM, the standard deviation is 3 times the square root of the count, which makes the normal range to be between 8 to 36. There should be no cause to alarm at values under 100 CPM.

This uRADMonitor is a network connected monitoring station, it is a uRADMonitor Model A that I bought when Radu first started this project. It has the serial number #3 and is thus one of the very first radiation monitors to connect to the network. This capability is delivered by a digital dosimeter constructed around the highly sensitive Geiger Muller tube SBM20U. It is now a fully available commercial product that you can buy here: https://www.uradmonitor.com/products/#1.

It is part of the uRADMonitor network that is focused on continuous Environmental Radiation Surveillance. The system is developed by Radu Motisan from Romania. This capability is delivered by a digital dosimeter constructed around the highly sensitive Geiger Muller tube SBM20U.
